Mr. Coonrod is a certified public accountant whose practice involves
services to Indiana local governmental financial management. His work
involves helping clients understand and deal with the regulatory framework
within which local government operates in Indiana. His clients are Indiana
municipalities, counties, and townships. His work includes budgeting and
planning for these entities.
Mr. Coonrod was elected County Auditor of Marion County in 1986 and served
until 1990. He also served two terms on the City-County Council and was
chairman of its administration and finance committee. Previously he served
as assistant national director of governmental accounting and auditing for a
national accounting firm.
He is a member of the Government Finance Officers' Association, the
Association of Indiana Counties and the
Indiana Township Association.
He is a co-author of Government Accounting and Financial Reporting,
published by Warren, Gorham, and Lamont and has had his work published in
the national Journal of Accountancy.
He has presented seminars on local government fiscal matters to the
Government Finance Officers Association and the
Association of Indiana Counties, Indiana Township Association, and the
Indiana League of Clerk Treasurers. He has taught accounting at the
University of Indianapolis and Marian College.
Mr. Coonrod is a native of Lafayette, Indiana, and has a bachelor's degree
in accounting from Indiana University.
Mr. Dyson’s practice involves services to Indiana local governmental
financial management. His work involves helping clients deal with the state
regulation of local government in Indiana. His clients are Indiana
municipalities, counties, and townships. His work includes budgeting and
planning for these entities. He has considerable experience in dealing with
local option income taxes.
Mr. Dyson was formerly the budget manager in the Marion County Auditor’s
Office. In this position he participated in the formation of the budgets for
each of the agencies in Marion County government. He also specialized in the
areas of county option income tax, cash flow analysis, and budgeting and
financial analysis on a special project for the construction and operation
of an arrestee-processing center. Before serving as the budget manager, he
worked as a financial analyst in the Department of Metropolitan Development
for the City of Indianapolis.
Mr. Dyson is a native of Princeton, Indiana. He has a bachelor's degree in
sociology, a master’s degree in public administration (policy analysis
major) from Indiana University-Indianapolis, and a master’s in business
administration (finance major) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana
University-Indianapolis. He has been an adjunct professor at Indiana
University, serving as an instructor in statistics.
Mrs. Lilly is a junior accountant who assists in our services to Indiana
local government. Her work involves analyzing and recording data,
implementing procedures, research, and generally assisting us to help
clients deal with the state regulation of local government in Indiana.
Mrs. Lilly is a native of Springfield, Ohio, and attends Indiana
University-Indianapolis.
BENJAMIN W. ROEGER, J.D.
Mr. Roeger's practice involves services to local government financial management. He helps his clients better understand how they will be fiscally impacted by Indiana regulatory measures. His clients are Indiana municipalities, counties and townships. He provides in-depth budget, planning and analysis for these entities.
Mr. Roeger previously worked at a law firm where he specialized in taxation, including matters involving property tax and state/local income taxation. He also interned at the Indiana Board of Tax Review.
Mr. Roeger is a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He received Bachelor of Accountancy and Masters of Accountancy Degrees from the University of Missouri and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Indiana University. He passed the Indiana bar examination and was admitted to the state's bar in 2007. He has also passed the written portion of the CPA examination and is currently in the process of obtaining his license.
